Mattheeussens-Wido B.V. has one production line that is focused on consumer packaging. We pack our products in glass jars, closed under vacuum with a metal twist-off cap. After this, the products are pasteurised so that the product can be stored for a while. The jars are then labeled and, if desired, packed in trays with or without foil, after which the trays are placed fully automatically on pallets of 1,200 x 1,000 or 1,200 x 800.After the pallets have been provided with a pallet sticker, they are stored in the warehouse, ready for transport.<\/p>\n

Glass<\/h2>\n

We only use one-time glass that is purchased at Western European glass factories that work under the highest quality control and certifications. On our production line we can equip our machines with different sets so that we can offer a wide variety of jars, varying in both content and model.<\/p>\n

Caps<\/h2>\n

We use metal twist-off caps from a reliable international player who has earned his spurs. The twist-off cap is a metal lacquered cap with a compound on the inside. Thanks to this cap, a jar can be easily closed again after it has been opened with a simple twist. We can supply these caps in different colors and prints.<\/p>\n

Labels<\/h2>\n

We have two different types of labeling machines. The first labeling machine processes the standard paper labels that stick to the pots through a glue system. With this machine we can process labels in many different formats, which makes us very flexible. We buy the paper labels from a specialised Dutch printing company with years of know-how and which is in possession of 5 and 6 color presses and computer-controlled offset presses of the latest generation. With their own pre-press and after-press department they take care of the labels for us from A to Z.<\/p>\n

In addition to a labeling machine for paper labels, we can also provide our pots with self-adhesive labels. The labeling machine makes it possible to provide the jars with printed stickers at great speed.<\/p>\n

Trays<\/h2>\n

We have a very modern and flexible tray-packer with which we can pack jars in cardboard trays from a few centimeters high to a height of approx. 10 cm, with or without shrink film. We use blank trays and all kinds of printed trays, depending on the wishes of the customer.<\/p>\n

Mattheeussens-Wido B.V. only uses FSC certified materials.<\/p>\n
